Opinion

In the present times, education is seen as a means of propogation of one's ideology.
Therefore, education becomes a political issue in which everyone wants to intervene with their own agendas. Like to name a few the hindu nationalists would se it as an opportunity to spread their belief systems, whereas the marxists would like to influence it with their perspective of how the world functions.
Nobody wants the learner to equip herself and have a choice of her own instead they want to make a choice for all of them.
What is your take on this issue? Do you think it has an impact on curriculum and teaching-leraning practices? Please feel free to express yourself and put forward your argument for or against this statement.

Since education is a reflection of the society and a lot other factors that influence the society, in turn, play equally significant role in shaping the education system. Political ideology is one such factor, which intend to shape the future citizen according to their ideology. For this very reason, every time there is a change of government, the school curriculum changes.

the application or implementation of any ideology /philosophy is no doubt in education. the best time to fill people's minds with ideas of your own is when they have not acquired the ability to critically view/review them on their own.
this early intervention also ensures that they never start critically thinking.but there is one more thing. the belief system of making independent thinkers would also get implemented in the same. manner. would you not wwant to make as early an intervention as possible.
